GAA MacNamee Awards Website of the Year 2016

GAA / Covid-19 Statement

Last Friday, our club, like every other unit in the GAA, was thrilled to receive the GAA’s Return to Play document which targets a return to training in Johnstown from 29th June. This is a framework document and the GAA have made it clear that it will evolve over time. A link to the document can be found here.

At a meeting of the club executive on Monday night last, a sub-committee comprising members and officers from all sections of the club was formed to implement the Return to Play for our club. That sub-committee held its first remote meeting recently. Over the coming days, the sub-committee will consult (again remotely) with all stakeholders (Coaches at all levels, parents of underage players and adult players) to explain the Return to Play requirements and to seek the assistance and support of all concerned to ensure a safe return for all.

You help and patience with all of this will be very much appreciated. We are all desperate to get back out playing but there is a lot of work to be done to ensure that happens safely. Please bear with us.

Neart in Aontas – Strength in Unity.
