Senior Management
Clann na nGael GAA Club are delighted to announce the appointment of Liam Kearns as the new team Manager of our Matrix Bathrooms sponsored Senior Men.
Liam brings with him a wealth of experience having previously managed Laois, Limerick and Tipperary. Most recently, he managed the Tipperary Senior team to Division 3 League success in 2017 and guided the Premier County to an All-Ireland Semi-Final appearance against Mayo in 2016. A Kerry native, Kearns hails from the famous Austin Stacks club in Tralee.
We look forward to welcoming Liam to Johnstown and working with him during the coming season.
U.20 Championship
Best of luck to our Shamrock Lodge Hotel sponsored U.20's who take on Oran in the Championship this Saturday 30th Nov. at 6pm in Kiltoom. Please show your support.
Annual Fundraiser
A speculator nights entertainment was had in the Shamrock Lodge Hotel last Saturday night November 23 when Clann na nGael GAA Club held their annual fundraiser ‘Clann’s Got Talent’.
Eleven ‘Acts’ took part giving a brilliant display of their talents which gave the judging panel , which comprised Maura O’Brien (Moore Drama Group) , Denis Naughton T.D, Brenda Mannion (Athlone Musical Society) and Cathal Durney (Club Representative) a very difficult time.
Congratulations to the eventual winners on the night ‘’The Hillbilles’’. Sincere thanks to all our sponsors and well done to Sarah Seery who won €500 Grenham Travel Sunway Holiday Voucher.

U.16's Fr. Manning Shield
Congraulations to the Roscommon U.16's who defeated Armagh in the Fr Manning Cup Shield Final on Saturday last.
Clann were represented by Ian Harney, John Shine, Alan McManus, Conor Reilly & Thomas Lennon. Well done lads!
Clann Lotto
The Lotto draw took place in Shines on Sunday last with a jackpot of €2,800. No winner, match 3's win €70 each;
Tom Silke (Sean Duignan) Margaret Nicholson (Fran Nicholson), Margaret Fallon (Ray Fallon Jnr).
