Minding Your Mental Health

I hope everyone is keeping safe and well, I am aware there is a lot of information circulating down to every club and I do not want important resources to be over looked, or clubs to be overwhelmed with too much information. Covid-19 has effected every GAA Club in the county.

The county Health and Well being committee are available to any club experiencing crisis and would like to bring your attention to our recently launched critical incident plan that contains a list of valuable resources. this was presented to every club.

It is also important that during these times we look after ourselves and in particular our mental health. It is normal to feel overwhelmed, stressed and confused during a crisis so making sure that we take some time to support our mental health is now more important than ever.

Please find attached a useful resource outlining a few tips for looking after your mental health, this has been attached to this email and is also available to access here; https://www.gaa.ie/my-gaa/community-and-health/community-development/covid-19-support. Please feel free to circulate this throughout your own networks.

‘Fostering Wellbeing and Resilience during Covid-19’ which was led by Professor Pat Dolan is also available to  you, it can be accessed at the following link: https://youtu.be/IrzZ0dYR-7g
