Club Notes - 16/3/20
All GAA Activities Suspended
The GAA and LGFA have suspend all activity at club, inter-county and educational levels until March 29 (inclusive) due to the Covid-19 outbreak. This includes all games, training and team gatherings at all ages and all grades (including underage training). We encourage club members to practice caution and follow guidelines provided by the health authorities, including practicing social distancing and avoiding close contact where possible.
Covid-19 Community Response Group
A community response group has been established under the auspices of Ss. Peter & Paul's Parish with local community members to provide practical help and support for those who are elderly, vulnerable or self-isolating by picking up shopping, collecting prescriptions or urgent supplies or simply a phone call to check in.
Please text 0877195022 for support or search "St. Peters Parish Athlone Covid-19 Community Response Group" on Facebook. Likewise, if you are able to offer your support to the Response Group, please contact us directly for more information.
