Clann na nGael GAA Club, Co. Roscommon

MacNamee Awards GAA Website of the Year 2016

Club Notes - 28/11/18

Clann Senior manager Feargal Shine and Junior manager Niall Shine were both ratified for the 2019 season at the Club AGM last night. Both teams had exceptional seasons securing the Fahey Cup and promotion to the O'Gara Cup for 2019. We wish both teams luck for next year.

Blood Donation

A Blood Donation Clinic will be open at the Shamrock Lodge Hotel tomorrow (Thursday 29th) from 4.30pm to 8pm.

As one of our Healthy GAA Club initiatives, we encourage club members to donate blood if possible. Find out more at or call 1850731137.

Our Men's Senior and Junior team are both in action this weekend, with our Junior team in action in the League Final against Kilbride and our Seniors in action against Roscommon Gaels in the O'Rourke Cup Semi-Final.

These are both quite significant games. A place in the O'Rourke Cup Final and a chance of a Championship and League double is at stake. The last time Clann completed this feat was 25 years ago.

Our Junior Men are in the Junior A League Final, a cup which Clann have never claimed - so there could be history in the making this weekend!

Friday 30th - Junior A League Final - Clann v Kilbride - 8.30pm in Johnstown.
Saturday 1st - O'Rourke Cup Semi-Final - Clann v Roscommon Gaels - 6pm in Lisnamult

Good luck to the management and players of both our Junior and Senior teams!

Clann's Got Talent

The Smith's Supervalu Monksland sponsored Clann's Got Talent show was so good that we want to relive it from start to we'll be watching it back in McNeill's this Saturday at 9.30pm!

Come in and enjoy the show with us, it could well be as good craic as it was on the night! We'll also be taking orders for copies of the show on DVD!
