Clann's Got Talent

On Saturday night the community of Clann na nGael came together in the Shamrock Lodge Hotel where over 500 people enjoyed what can only be described as a wonderful night of entertainment where fourteen acts took to the stage in many guises and group names as never seen or heard before or possibly again.

It was a brilliant social night with money also raised in the process. There were some great prizes which were won on the night in the raffle by the following people;

€500 Holiday voucher sponsored by Grenham Travel - Winner Carmel (Lennon) Flynn
€250 Hamper provided by various sponsors and Clann - Winner Kitty Naughton
€200 Clarins hamper sponsored by Paul Whyte Pharmacy - Winner Joanne Colgan
€200 One for All voucher sponsored by Stella Maris Nursing Home - Winner Tom O'Connor
€250 Voucher hotel break sponsor Kilmore Hotel - Winner Grace Finnerty
€100 Hamper sponsored by Coffeys Lecarrow - Winner Joanne Lennon

There were several other spots prizes on the the night, thanks to the suppliers.
Clann would like to thank the wonderful Sinead Hensey for choreographing the acts on the night and her many hours in the weeks beforehand…no easy task when you saw the misfits she had to handle.
Shane McCarron for providing the music on the night and his patience trying to get the acts in tune.
Aidan Higgins and his team for providing lighting and sound.
Thanks to our Judges for their insightful comments Mary Cathal Dominic and Joe.
To our wonderful MC's on the night, Emmet Durney and Mike Keena, who kept things moving and the crowd entertained.
To our PRO Eugene Pettit for putting the programme together for the night.
Thanks to all the Acts who spent many hours rehearsing. In the end there had to be a winner, and it came down to a deadlock against The Quad Squad, but in the end the winners were The Junior B’s!
