Health & Wellbeing Information Night

Clann na nGael will be holding a Health & Wellbeing information night in the Clubhouse in Johnstown in conjunction with the GAA Healthy Club Initiative.

The FREE event will take place on Wednesday 14th March from 7.30pm to 9.30pm. We will have some special guest speakers on the night, including;

Mary McGrath - HSE Regional Resource Officer for Suicide Prevention
Justin Campbell - Addictions Counsellor / Health & Wellbeing Officer
John O’Connor - An Garda Siochana Representitive - Social Media Safety and Cyber Crime
Emmet Major - Western Region Drugs & Alcohol Task Force

Light refreshments will be served on the night. The event is completely free to attend and all are welcome to Johnstown on Wednesday 14th March.

Underage Registration

Clann na nGael Underage Registration for Girls and Boys was postponed due to the weather, and will now take place on Friday March 9th from 6PM to 9PM in Johnstown and Sunday March 11th 10:30am to 12 noon in the Athlone Springs Hotel. Please help spread the word!

Clann Holiday

Getting sick of the snow? The destination for this years club holiday is Lanzarote and is leaving on 20th October and returning on 27th. Places are going fast so if you want to go book your place contact Breda Dolan (0868971409) or Mary Rock (0877838966)

Employment for Third level Kelloggs Cul Camp coaches

Roscommon Coaching and Games Development are seeking applications from third level students/coaches to work on the Kellogg’s Cull camps for 2018. All students must have GAA Garda Vetting and are requested to forward application letter and CV to Roscommon GAA Games Manager at

Cornafulla N.S. Enrollment

Due to deteriorating weather conditions the enrolment night in Cornafulla was cancelled. Please contact the school for an enrolment form at 09064 37177. The induction morning will take place on Wednesday 18th of April. Further details will be sent to families of children who enrol.

Athlone Community College

Congrats to Athlone Community Colleges Junior Gaelic team who won the Leinster Final last weekend against Loreto College, Foxrock. ACC have 14 Clann girls on their squad. Well done to all & best of luck in the All Ireland Semi Final!

Colaiste Chiarain

Clann wish Colaiste Chiarain players and management the very best of luck on Saturday (March 10th) in the All-Ireland Colleges Senior 'C' Football Semi-Final against the Leinster Champions. The squad features no more than 15 Clann members.

Club Lotto

The draw took place in Shines on Sunday 4th March with a jackpot of €5,000.
