MacNamee Awards GAA Website of the Year 2017

Club Notes - 04/12/17

Pitch of the Year

Johnstown was awarded the runners up prize of Connacht Club Ground of the Year in a ceremony in Ballyhaunis on Friday last, receiving a commemorative plaque and €1,500 funding to the club.

This is due to the work carried out on the clubhouse and grounds over last two years and it would not have been possible without the financial support of the Let's Go With Clann members. Your support of the club is greatly appriciated.
Thanks to club members involved in improving the grounds on a daily basis.

Senior AGM

The Clann AGM took place on Friday last, thanks to all club members who attended. Fergal Shine was ratified as the Men's Senior team manager for 2018. We wish Figs and his team the best of luck for the 2018 season.

Aiden Brien (Chairman), Brian Brogan (Secretary) and Declan Dolan (Treasurer) have also been ratified for 2018. We will have a further breakdown of the 2018 Executive Committee and management positions in the coming weeks.

Clann U13 Girls Feile

On Sunday 3rd of December. Clann U13 girls played the quarter final of the feile away to St Barrys. St Barrys started the game very well and caused plenty of problems early on.
